I worked after my O Levels at Popular as a cashier and there were several other part-timers who were working there, same-aged as me thus it made the work more fun and interesting.

The colleagues there are friendly and we work together as a team. They will not scold you, as long as you know where you went wrong and leanr from your mistakes.

A good first job

I was a retail sales assistant in 2013 and this was my first ever job.It was a good time and it was nice to work with colleagues who are helpful and friendly.Pay wasn't good (S$6/hr) and I hope it has improved over the years.All in all, a good environment to learn that earning money isn't easy.

Fun Place with Good Colleagues

Leading a small team of customer service officers serving Popular customers islandwide, there has never been a boring day! Some days you get good customers and resulting in very good day but most days you encounter nasty customers. Hours can be long, especially when there are events but it's not frequent. Colleagues are all supportive and stood by each other even when the going gets tough. The culture makes it a very nice place to work at.

Meaningful Experience

This workplace really trains one to be independent, be able to cope with pressure and the fast-paced environment. It is toughest to handle customers and other duties at the same time, especially during non-peak hours or during the weekends. Also assist customer complaints.Co workers have team work and a happy work place.The hardest part of our job is pacifying customers who are very angry and we cannot close the problem due to no stocks or stocks that customers wants is not available.At the end of the day when store is close and see that we have big sales and achieve our quota for the day, everybody is happy.
