Good for a short-term career to gain experience, much like a stepping stone to progress to another company with better benefits. Management does not practice meritocracy and offers opportunities only to a selected few that are the favourites. While the head office in the US was oblivious to the issues in the local office as it was covered up.

Pathetic Management

Management in P&WC is pathetic to say the list. Immediate managers only care about themselves and not about their employees. Virtually zero chance of progression. One colleague waited almost 10 years to move one grade up.

very very fast paced working environment. If you come from a slow paced environment, forget about joining this company. If you are applying for the 1st job in this company, you need to jump after a few years. else everything is stagnant. Good for people who have experience as you can command your starting salary. company very stingy in upgrading work flow systems. everything is still old fashion way of pen and paper. gone are the good old days where the management team are really taking care of you. nowadays the management team is very bad. I shall not describe it. Good learning place. nice employees.

Great company

Good management team, great work culture. Small company, so you get to know all the colleagues very well. The equipment and machines are rather old, even the system is not robust. But management team is working on improving and upgrading the necessaries.

Challenging

A typical day at work includes managing data and a lot of data crunching. The company works together synonymously with most of the departments dependent on one another to function and communications are thrown across the cubicles on a daily basis. Company transport is provided, no nearby lunch places, but transport is provided to a few of the nearby eateries and mall. The day ends earlier than most companies and we get to avoid the jam.

Salary not competent with toher companies. It is a manufaturinf company. The pros of working in Pratt and Whitney is the health benefits and PPE benefits. The cons of workung in Pratt will be the amount of overtime and the working hours.

Short internship

It is a small company with very few engineers, as most of the employees are operators, who are less educated. I was working there as an intern and my work was rather limited so I cannot comment much.
