PWC offers flexible work environment, however their work in very a competitive market and teams work under high pressure sometimes. Their pay scale is better then others but medical benefits are not greatest.

Micromanagement culture
PwC was great when I first started in 2000 and I loved it. Then, in 2006, they restructured and started to lay off lots of people, i.e., outsourcing to India and Uruguay. The managers they promoted and hired and were incompetent micromanagers. From 2006 until I left in 2009, it was all down hill, starting with their propaganda posters: everywhere you turned there were posters and/or videos with their shameless self-promoting slogan of "great place to work" making you think you'll never get the type of benefits package anywhere else. Then, give you an unreasonable work load that you couldn't possibly finish it in the time given, then penalize you for having to work overtime. Scum bags! I would never recommend this place for anyone, especially non-accountants. Now, I work at a much better place, with better benefits, MUCH better culture, and superior management!!

The icing on the cake after they moved finance to Uruguay: the consulting company that they hired (Tata Consulting) that moved Finance to Uruguay, could not get paid by PwC because the system the put in place didn't work!!
Pros
Lots of vacation time
Cons
Everything else
