The role is a good option if out of job or desperate for jobs. However, be prepared for long working hours, very top-down style of management, little/no space for progression, and dismal bonuses/pay raises. The company seemed to favor implementing new systems and processes but didn't bother to harmonize or at least insert some common sense into those systems/processes. The result: different confusing systems that add up to work load. Work-life balance is basically non-existent. That being said, there are also some good things to look forward to: a very comfy pantry (if you had the time to sit down there and enjoy your lunch), good medical benefits (if you can withstand the ire of your teammates who had to take on extra work load as the company is forever short of manpower), and occasionally the celebratory lunches/dinners (if you had the time to go and enjoy them).

Not a pleasant experience due to the high workload

Colleagues are nice but workload too high. Pay is not justifiable for the high workload. Management continue to give you more projects due to lack of manpower... insufficient sleep and no work life balance. Hope it gets better one day.
