Month Internship Programme (Former Employee) - Singapore - November 4, 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedWhat is the best part of working at the company? There are so many wonderful things about working for the company. My favorite is probably the flexibility I have with my hours. I also love the company culture and enjoy working with everyone. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? values excessive demands and pressures that are not matched to workers' knowledge and abilities, where there is little opportunity to exercise any choice or control, and where there is little support from others. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? prioritizing work-life balance, clear communication and diversity and inclusion practices What is a typical day like for you at the company? When it was my last day, it was a very difficult day for me.

Kitchen Staff (Current Employee) - Hougang Mall - December 10, 2019

Operation leader
Pros
Cons

Ichiban Sushi IMM (Former Employee) - imm - May 2, 2018
i enjoyed working there mostly because of the welcoming staffs even though IMM was a very busy outlet. I came to understand from service point of view why sometimes food served takes more time than expected. i gained more patience.

A lot more to be improved
MANAGEMENT TRAINEE (Former Employee) - Singapore - April 6, 2018
Work scope is too much till worked 14 hours per day, workers hurt or cut their hand accidentally but cant even have proper rest at home, workers hurt cant even qualified to claim insurance because still under probation? But who can guarantee that a new workers wouldn't be getting hurt in the first three months? What can they do in order to protect their right and benefit? Too few staff at operation, too stressful, treat workers as robot, job work/life balance get zero marks, suggested more staff to be hired. The employer should walk around all the 60 outlet and see what can be improved instead of sitting in the office.
Pros
Non
Cons
Super long hour

Productive and fun workplace
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) - Causeway point, Jem - July 28, 2017
Working in RE&S gave me many work experience and i did learn alot. Working in an outlet with top sales and high volume of customers taught me how to handle the crowd as well as to handle any unforseen circumstances in such a highly stressed environment. As managers and in-charge, we have to set good example for our staff and always remind ourselves that we have heavy responsibilities that we have to keep in mind. Handling customers that are unhappy with the service due to shortage of staff and long food waiting time has been a norm. Also in Singapore, i understand that customers expect fast serving of food and it has also became a problem we have to solve daily due to the shortage of manpower in the f&b industry. I've learnt how as a manger to explain to the customer and to calm them down that we're are trying our best though there are times where we tried but still receive complaints. The most enjoyable part of the job is the friendships forged with the staff as well as the teamwork we get when we're working together, which is important in the f&b industry.

Great Experience
Waitress/ Cashier (Former Employee) - Singapore - May 29, 2017
Being a waitress and cashier was a whole new experience for me. Although I only worked part-time, it was very tiring after a day's work. I had great colleagues and I am glad of it.

Fun to work, Great company to grow and develope my skills
Outlet Manager (Former Employee) - Singapore - December 15, 2016
Most enjoyable part of the job is you will work with different nationlities with different cultures. Everyday is a learning process. Hardest part of the job is the queue is always very long and you have to do your very best to accomadate and let them in to the restaurant to dine but it is a great experience how to handle such a large crowd.
Pros
Meal allowance and overtime
Cons
Long Hours

Conducive environment
Senior Technician (Current Employee) - Tai Seng - February 11, 2015
A typical day for me will be to gather all outstanding machine breakdowns in the Restaurant and determine the urgency of such issues. I would then dispatch my Preventive Maintenance team to repair the mentioned breakdown and assess to whether get the parts or activate external Contractor
I would then create Purchase Order to get endorsement for payment purposes.
