Overall was ok. But benefit below average. Example, as i work for a company for a year, staff get bonus..we get nothing. And to my surprise theres even an allowance cut all a sudden.

Incentive driven environment
Senior Consultant (Former Employee) - Orchard - May 20, 2022
Performance and incentive is judge by achieving target. Incentives scheme is attractive but can be burden by non performing team members. Promotion can be accelerated if performance is outstanding regardless of duration in organisation.
Pros
Good for entry starters without experience
Cons
Flat structure, sales driven, poor training

Competitive sales environment
HR Coordinator (Former Employee) - Raffles - April 13, 2020
It was a pleasant work experience in Recruit Express at Banking and Finance division. My role as a HR coordinator is to source resumes on recruitment platforms on a daily basis, conduct calls to potential candidates and proceed to interview them in my office.
The working environment is very competitive as every employee will be conducted a daily and weekly KPI review to ensure that they perform up to standards. Employees will receive a pay-cut if they did not fulfill the KPI

Challenging and eye-opening experience under a 3-month contract
HR Consultant (Former Employee) - Orchard - April 24, 2017
Typically my day starts from 7:30am and ends at 5pm. I will reach my work place on time and we will be given half an hour to prepare materials before starting work officially at 8am. What I learned from the job are the skills to convince job-seekers to take up particular jobs through cold-calling people who have submitted their resumes. Also, I learned how to conduct an interview properly and jot down crucial details in point forms without having to interrupt the interviewee.
The workplace culture is competitive yet fun because I frequently hang out with my colleagues for lunch and occasionally, for dinner or evening physical workouts.
Hardest part of the job would be to pick up the necessary skills to cold call a person and ask the relevant questions.
Most enjoyable part of the job would be to hit targets.
