I enjoy working there. I have gained so much exposure and build many friendships along the way. Would really recommend. Cons about working there is that it is very tiring

Fun workplace

A fun environment to work! Colleagues are nice however management is a little double standard at times when i was there. The pay was not that good when i was there but i heard they increase the min pay now.

Challenging

One of my best experiences working with dynamic people in a truly great organization. You are given responsibility and are able to take on new roles to further your development as a professional .

Toxic management & working environment

The processes within the organisation is messy and management are unstable. One moment they seem okay and the next they can just flipped. Working environment is toxic. Colleagues are willing to throw you under the bus. Salary not competitive and benefits are subpar.

Pros

Free lunch

Cons

No work-life balance, toxic management & workplace

Fun but tiring workplace

RWS is a nice place to work at with great colleagues but work wise is very fast-paced and reliance on managers is high so if you're looking for independence, not for you

Pros

Free lunch

Cons

long hours

Ocasionally fun workplace

The recruitment drive for hunting new employees to join some department are ridiculously slow. Current serving staffs of some business units and departments are short handed and face the overwhelming day-to-day work with low morale.

Fun play and colleagues

Good colleague and friendly. Always willing to help. Management launch projects from planning team without considering operations lapse and capability to run projects.

Pros

Free lunch

Cons

Listen to management always

Everyday you will meet challenges at work but it was fun to have many colleagues and friends .

Assessment are base on your working skills knowledge and attitudes,I learned more importance of customer service and to be flexible. You will gain a lot of friends. The salary is well compensated

Understaffed and underpaid

It's fun if you have friends at your workplace, but it can get very clique-ish and you might end up being left out of friend groups. Your experience really depends very heavily on your coworkers bc the work itself can be very tiring, and if the manpower is not good (which is basically all the time), you won't get much breaks. The pay is not good. The novelty of working here wears off very fast so don't come here expecting fun at work it really is quite tiring and can be stressful esp bc the guests can be quite unreasonable.

fast paced workplace, management needs to improve

colleagues are generally helpful, willing to assist you in things that you do not know. other business units are also nice and friendly. however, management style is top down with little to average emphasis on staff welfare.

Fun workplace while it lasted

Great place to work if you are a newbie. Bad place to work if you want progression. Progression is based on who you know and not based on work merits. Horrible management style from top to bottom - no foresight of the future for both the employees and the company.

Pros

On the job training Rapid change is always a norm

Cons

Long hours, Zero work life balance, Rapid change is always a norm, Zero appreciation of service in the company

Warmest advices

performance rating by supervisors is very subjective; dialect-oriented working environment, generally Cantonese speaking with superior, your life would be better there; over responsibities including part of supervisor and manager duties; will be sacked off anytime unless excellent social skills or hidden background. Good experience to serve customers around the world before Covid; made friends and collegues mostly from Asia; work-life balance as no 24/7 on call depending on your position. Relatively good pay for foreigner freshgrad only.

Pros

Canteen style free lunch

Cons

Management

Retirement home

Follow and carry out orders, limited learning opportunity, sent for courses of low value to prevent employees from gaining appreciable skills and jumping ship because of lack of advancement opportinuty.Relatively agreeable colleagues but much of the team has left. Typical management with same complaints as everywhere else.Meals provided but quality has dropped

Pros

free lunch

Cons

<3% increment, low number of leave days, zero advancement

Productive and Fun Workplace

After i found a new job in Singapore, i think Resort World Sentosa is the best company in town. Because of the benefits. And the most important is you can see all the visitor from all over the country to go there. You will enjoy to work there.

Fun environment.

Rotating shifts job.Depending on your business unit/department; the culture might differ but overall it is a fun environment as you will be working in a tourist attraction/integrated resort.Bad career advancement; close to none.Yearly pay increment is close to none.Job security is close to none as observed from what happened during COVID-19; retrenchment exercise by the company.Subtle yet apparent work politics despite being the lowest pay-grade employee.Should you choose work here, only work here as a temp or part-time but not a full-time/permanent job as it has no career advancements.

Pros

Staff lunches are provided in designated cafeterias. Teammates are fun.

Cons

Shift work, bad career advancements, bad yearly increment, hospitality industry is not a very secured job, subtle yet apparent work politics.
