tech specialist (Former Employee) - sentosa - July 16, 2021
Follow and carry out orders, limited learning opportunity, sent for courses of low value to prevent employees from gaining appreciable skills and jumping ship because of lack of advancement opportinuty. Relatively agreeable colleagues but much of the team has left. Typical management with same complaints as everywhere else. Meals provided but quality has dropped
Pros
free lunch
Cons
<3% increment, low number of leave days, zero advancement

Productive and Fun Workplace
Pool Attendant (Former Employee) - Singapore - May 4, 2021
After i found a new job in Singapore, i think Resort World Sentosa is the best company in town. Because of the benefits. And the most important is you can see all the visitor from all over the country to go there. You will enjoy to work there.

Fun environment.
Attraction Guest Experience & Ticketing / Guest Services & Correspondence (Former Employee) - Sentosa - April 21, 2021
Rotating shifts job. Depending on your business unit/department; the culture might differ but overall it is a fun environment as you will be working in a tourist attraction/integrated resort. Bad career advancement; close to none. Yearly pay increment is close to none. Job security is close to none as observed from what happened during COVID-19; retrenchment exercise by the company. Subtle yet apparent work politics despite being the lowest pay-grade employee. Should you choose work here, only work here as a temp or part-time but not a full-time/permanent job as it has no career advancements.
Pros
Staff lunches are provided in designated cafeterias. Teammates are fun.
Cons
Shift work, bad career advancements, bad yearly increment, hospitality industry is not a very secured job, subtle yet apparent work politics.

Horrible management and Low pay
Attractions Crew (Former Employee) - USS - March 26, 2021
Honestly, do not waste your time working for RWS. Especially the Attractions side. Management has got to be the worst I have ever seen. No weekends off at all too. And salary is very pathetic.
Pros
Free lunch
Cons
Bad management

Gaming Pit Supervisor (Former Employee) - Singapore - February 11, 2021
It's face paced working environment, able to meet different type of people from all level daily. Pay is good for the market but no progressive for me.People in key management positions with lack of skills and culture of fear for losing their jobs, level of immaturity and unprofessional is prevalent throughout the company at all level.
Pros
Free meal, good benefit
Cons
Shift work, poor management

A fun place to work, coleagues are easy to work with.Kampong Spirit very much practise.Working pace slightly slower due to protocol and getting approval for ideas and implimentation takes longer since most approval are given by head office. Communications are usually done by sending email to all involve.
Pros
Definately FREE meals 2 times aday.
Cons

Pit Supervisor (Former Employee) - Singapore - June 27, 2020
The best company so far that I worked. Very generous to the employees. You will save money as long you know how to spend it properly. They give chances to the locals who have college degrees to be in Managerial position.
Pros
The bonuses are good & perks.
Cons
The shifting of schedule.

Fun workplace that offers many experiences
Resort Ambassador & Special Events (Current Employee) - Sentosa - March 24, 2020
Tiring and under the hot sun most of the time. However, there are many opportunities to gain new experiences and also new friends. The employees there are mostly friendly and would be willing to help. There are a handful of toxic colleagues but it does not affect me when working.
Pros
Free meals, staff discount on attractions and shops.
Cons
Long hours

Fun workplace
Attractions Operations Team Member (Casual) (Former Employee) - Sentosa - March 11, 2020
Long working hours. Even though there can be quite fun at times but sometimes you do get annoying customers which you have to tolerate. You do get to meet lots of different customers of different background.

Workplace culture is very bad. Competitive!
Security Officer (Former Employee) - Sentosa - February 28, 2020
Management is good but workplace culture is very bad. Very competitive. No teamwork in a group. Teamwork came when you have a good colleagues. But salary and benefit wise is all good.

Great environment
Manager (Current Employee) - Resorts World Sentosa - February 28, 2020
Very busy work environment. Plenty of inclusion and location is very trendy. Management is very competent and makes you feel welcome.
The environment can feel a bit too much like college and there are visible cliques so you must involve yourself in the company culture to advance.
