Fun place

I’ve had a lot of fun at work,the staff there where friendly and vary caring but the people that u need to interact with is not as kind as the staff. Some do not even speak English and it is very troublesome

...It's one of a kind of experience. The SEA aquarium is excellent. The cable ride and sky tower are good experience. Wings of time on beach is one of best shows. Creative show. Must see. Don't miss it. There are other attractions as well

There will be shift work if you are working at RWS. If you wish to work 5days work week job please do not apply. Malaysian controlled company, so dont expect much on fast promotion if you are non malaysian.

I love working here because i get to learn more about the marine life animals and also i got a chance to speak with the tourist and also experienced being at the front line whereby tourist get to us . And i love working there because my lead and my mentor is a great leader , they always help us to be a better person each day . I would also like to thank my school for this work experience eventhough we did not get pay but it was a nice experience

Fun workplace

Allowed me to gain more soft skills such as spieling to audiences for show and learning to work under pressure in busy attractions such as roller coaster. On the other hand, technical skills are in regards to operating attraction ans safety requirements. Most enjoyable part would definitely be the environment and job scope - if u enjoy customer service, this is definitely the best part time job for students.

Working in Resort World Sentosa provided a great experience and exposure. You learn to handle Guest issue and manage more hands on issue. The work culture is great for anyone as there are a mix of people in the organisation. It is easy to make friends and you can learn from each other. However, the management can be quite bad at some times as there are different manager giving conflicting instruction. You will have to get used to different working style of the manager to do well. The application and waiting process is also quite long. Overall it is a great experience working in Resort World Sentosa as you can gain valuable experience from the job.

Bad management

As much as it was fun working here, with great attractions that has good discounts for staff, the back end management was badly managed. The higher management kept leaving, every 6 months there was a reorg, promotion scheme was unheard of where they will "trial" few people for 6 months to see how you fare and promote one. It was bad.

Busy bee at work, great teamwork but as all offices there are bound to be office politics. The workplace culture is quite lenient to interns but harsher on full timers. Work life balance is not great. Hardest part of being a HR is to communicate to different stakeholders. But most enjoyable part is being able to forge new relationships and see people find fulfillment in the job you have gotten them into.

Its a fun working environment with multi races and culture to you can learned from. The excitement and challenges are there everywhere as we are the backbone of casino operation. But the difficulty of dealling to the guest as there value all the freebees, benefits and promotion to the last cent. And part of the job to maintain and face this hurdle with smile and pride everyday. The technology is not a question although the cost of living is to high. but it still a WOW page of my career.
