Fun place to work and learn yet your executive and managers do not appreciate what you have done. Appraisals are based on 'who is next' basis. Very unfair.

Good people, bad management

Working with Good team if lucky. Management acts recklessly especially when it comes to customer feedback. Management will fault own staff if needed to pacify customer. Internal backstabbing is a normal. Too much communication issue.

Good foundation but you can do better

Good start for those who wanna join the workforce but you can do better . Ideal for those who are retiring soon . Working hours are hard to adjust so be cautious .

Nothing much to say good things about this company. Once you are employed as. Bus Captain be prepared to forget your work life balance and family time. Break time and meal time not fantastic. Worst still increment and bonuses sucks.They cut drivers increment and bonuses to save money. Please don’t come here to work .

Operations exec low competency

Its hard to work with low competency exec and yet thinking how great he is. No sign of guidance or helping hand, uncertainty in himself. Management need to select executive carefully. We do not need an admin in ops role.

Poor and bias management style

Though salary is mediocre esp having to work on shift + PHs, what is not forthcoming is the mgt style from the female head for NEL with old school of thoughts. Not receptive to changes and bias in promoting younger staff at the expense of older ones. Also, during off rest days, be prepared to go back for training with no backpay of the hours spent. This is one reasons why I left this company.

Fast pace challenging job.the people are courteous and happy.training and upgrading programme is provided by the company.emergency classes is compulsory for all.

Good company overall

My manager was very supportive, and I had very good experience there. The colleagues were helpful. However, the food in the staff canteen could be improved.

Army cultured and top down decision

It is a very traditional cultured company, where the top management mainly from the Army/RSAF. Thus, it is a top-down decision cultured and no work life balanced.Bosses like to micro-managed the middle management, seems no trust in them.

Overall Not Very bad

Good benefits, good bonus (low pay), low retrenchment, resulted alot useless staff who are on "retire" mode. Appraisal system is very bad unless u are very good with your bosses.promotion depend on years on service. high turnover rate this year, majority are age 20-40 prime age staff.

Long working days

Great people around and stable place to be.Free ride on public transport but old bird mindset must be dispose off, to give way for future generation.Good experience overall.

They do not take care of senior worker

No job satisfaction. Resentment towards older workers. Many unproductive workers got cold storage in a department which affect the active ones. Recent changes in the organisation resulting in changing for the worst.

Productive

Good salary and bonus plus there is monthly incentive. Working with the long timers is a hassle as they are insecure about their position and they won’t help you or teach you.

Not bad environment, but very routine job. Too much of politics everyone keep comparing each and other, management nice to your face but behind their just as evil

Stressful but can earn money

Stressful from the management, Pay not bad but very easy to have trouble because i am a bus captain, Old school management from depot head. I am from ulu pandan bus depot. Worst depot head you ever ask for. Ask bus captain to do impossible stuff. Does not care about bus captain welfare. Serve him right to have legal case on him.

Relax work environment

Good place to work for those looking for stress less job. The job is very secured and no retrenchment. Need go thru some basic internal courses to stay longer.

Fun working

I like to work as a part-time job.But only that now they does not need any part-timer staffs as they would prefer to have more full timer. So we have to leave the company and find other part time jobs to work.
