Stressful but can earn money
Bus Captain (Former Employee) - Ulu pandan bus depot - February 24, 2022
Stressful from the management, Pay not bad but very easy to have trouble because i am a bus captain, Old school management from depot head. I am from ulu pandan bus depot. Worst depot head you ever ask for. Ask bus captain to do impossible stuff. Does not care about bus captain welfare. Serve him right to have legal case on him.
Pros
Free uniform and transport
Cons
Long working hours. dont protect locals well enough

Fun working
Customer Service Assistant (Current Employee) - Punggol - December 14, 2021
I like to work as a part-time job. But only that now they does not need any part-timer staffs as they would prefer to have more full timer. So we have to leave the company and find other part time jobs to work.

A good place to work and enhance your skills and knowledge but not a place to retire.
Sadly... The salary here is very small, most older staff here are being underpaid, they are not being cared, they are the ones who have been loyal. According to Google Survey, SBST Rail's basic pay is 28% below national average. More than 15 years of rail experience, with a recognised Diploma from a top Polytechnic, and your salary is not even $3000.
Pros
Good environment.
Cons
Salary.

Good place for retirement
Senior Technical Officer (Current Employee) - Sengkang - March 27, 2020
They care for the older workers more than youngsters. They tend to take care of themselves first instead defending their own team. Once you made a mistake, you are being targeted. People working there dont take initiative, only know how to act blur live longer. Those who leave are either they can work very well, or they cant work at all.

Not A Good Culture
Operations Executive (Former Employee) - Singapore - March 3, 2020
After graduation from University, I had gotten a job which is filled with lower education colleagues that had been working for more than 5 years. Extremely bad culture with seniors bullying junior employees regardless of your ranks upon entry. Extremely bad culture where bosses do not recognised your contributions but always finding your faults. If it was not for the better salary, I would have left much earlier.

Productive workplace
Customer Service Officer (Former Employee) - Woodlands Rd - February 25, 2020
Standing long hours, not fixed shift timings, difficulty to go for toilet break if you work in the train. Always go out from home very early for 1st shift and when you work for 2nd shift, you go back home very late by 1-2am.
