The best experience as it is a place where learning about human psychology take place every day. There were no moments of stress but positive learning experience. Assisting and helping the residents was a joy that no money can buy.

Eye opening experience

As an intern, i was able to take part in various outdoor programs and assist the full timers in managing them. I met many wonderful individuals and beneficiaries from the centre and understand their condition a little better.

A place of compassion for the mentally ill and care givers

The workplace is very concerned for the well being of the clients and manages to convey the message through its staff to the community so that there is awareness and advocacy for the support needed for the clients and their care givers. There is many out reach to be done in order to make contact with the mentally ill clients and their family members and friends. Sufficient support must be provided to inform clients of their stability in the community through medical attention, medication and a balanced life style. It is very difficult to gain the trust of the client as they have been stigmatised by the community but the happiness comes when their life is normalised through our case management interventions and positive outcomes.

Data Entry

Admin Assistant (Former Employee) - Toa Payoh - June 28, 2017

Data entry for clients and companies associated with the company. Bio as well as company details. Required to contact and find out details personally. Patient escort, Some or similar mentally handicapped individuals required company as they were sent to their appropriate locations to receive help. Conversation with them as well talking them down if need be. It was mostly an Admin job.

excellent working environment and great colleagues

SAMH is an organization where one can have great work life balance . The management is great with employees and have a family oriented approach for employees. Co- worker and the culture in office was awesome.
