Ok. Environment . Workload a hit heavy on the higher side. Pay wise is lower. Hence, better not to stay long. Good to move around to increase the salary.

Bad Culture
Procurement Manager (Current Employee) - serangoon north - October 22, 2023
High attrition rate. Low pay and bonus. Management is very rigid and not flexible, old school mentality. There’s a mandate to work 5 days in office. Join at your own risk.

good co-workers but no growth
Customer Service Officer (Current Employee) - Singapore - October 8, 2023
Singtel as a brand is good and the job is stable. However, in the recent times, they have lost a lot of business (especially the TV market). Lack of growth in the company and a lot of politics involved.

Work life balance
Customer Service Officer (Current Employee) - Ang Mo Kio - August 29, 2023
Pros: - Work life balance - Team leaders are fairly helpful and experienced - Barely have any dramas/internal conflicts amongst colleagues/managers - Birthday leaves Cons: - Salary increment is small and slow - Can’t look forward to career progression in terms of position

Good work life balance
Hierarchical structure with legacy processes. Things are improving with ongoing transformation. There is a mix of managers with old-school mindset and those newer ones who genuinely want to change.

Jobs at Singtel
Very Bad Growth & Bad Management
Business Analyst (Current Employee) - Singapore - June 24, 2023
Management will never recognize or appreciate employees at work who go the extra mile. My promotion had been halted and instead I had been given a $68 increment. Very bad work environment & culture.
Pros
Learning Opportunities
Cons
A lot of cons

Supportive environment
Data Analytics Intern (Former Employee) - Exeter Road - May 17, 2023
Good supervisor, willing to answer any questions you have. The intern will be assigned a buddy to help you get accustomed to the environment. However, learning opportunities are a bit limited, but maybe it depends on the team.

great team and colleagues
Legal (Former Employee) - Singapore - May 11, 2023
Great team and colleagues - I had the privilege of being under a supportive AGC. The LCs in the team were mostly patient and keen to guide. The only con thus far is the dated office.

Good colleagues but long working hours. Had to work over public holdays and midnight. Understaffed in many departments. Training could be better Decent working location

Productive
Fun experience and colleagues. The bunch of service skills learnt during the job will be useful for everyday living as well. Improves on the self coordination.

What you'd expect at an SG GLC
Data Analyst (Former Employee) - Singapore - January 29, 2023
Generally manageable workloads with generally nice people. Enterprise folks seems to be under more pressure to perform than the Consumer business. Learned a lot from good managers.
Pros
Good office location, Nice co-workers
Cons
Output may not have tangible impact

Singtel call centre (MOM) is a very stressful work environment and colleges are usually burned out.
MOM Call Centre (Former Employee) - East Singapore - January 1, 2023
A typical day starts with answering calls instantly when work starts. Calls can be unpredictable but working hours are fixed. Demoralising environment, micro-manage things like toilet breaks, staggered lunch times, the hardest part of the job is dealing with callers who are rude and do not understand MOM regulations and protocols. Callers will attempt to find loopholes to get their case settled quickly but its not possible unless MOM resolves the case.
Pros
No OT
Cons
Stressful, Underpaid for daily pressure call agents handle, management practices micro-managing like toilet breaks, inconvenient to have a proper lunch break
