Overall lousy working experience. Unstable organisation, throughout the whole year cutting costs, Management no foresight.

Bosses practice favouritism, trying to get rid of matured staffs, micro management, always make use of our lunch time to do training (working lunch).

Used to be a fairly good place to work until a recent MD came along and created a competitive and toxic culture.

Used to be a fairly good place to work until a recent MD came along and created a competitive and toxic culture. Hence alot of attrition follows and I lost all my friends in the department.Good mobility across departments.

Good hybrid/flexible arrangement in the long term, Stable environment.

Poor career progression, HR has all kinds of excuses not to increase your pay or bonus, organisation is huge and complex.

Good benefits

Very good staff benefits. Work life balance. However, the company is very big with many departments. And sometimes it takes a fairly long time to locate the right department to solve an issue.

Good staff benefits

work culture can be improved

decent pay

many, terrible culture is probably the start

One of the best Banks to work in SG

Pros- work life balance in most teams- opportunities to explore roles due to large presence in SG- most decisions made in SG, so hardly any problems related to extended day to have meetings in UK/US time zone- generous annual leave policy, flexi work policyCons- huge organization therefore typical challenges - difficult to move up ladder, slow decisions due to multiple stakeholders involved in everything

Nice working place

Just like any job, there is always some people have sore eyes for people who can work harder than them. Most of the staff are really nice, but the management or seniors always have their own internal political views.

Good and fast paced Bank

A very good bank if you already have some experience and willing to work in a fast paced and result oriented environment. Salaries are slightly above market. Good culture and management is transparent to a good degree.

Good place to work

Hardworking employees. Good mission-vision statement. Good pay and bonus. Open door concept. Challenging projects. Too many layers. Bureaucratic and complex process.

Agile working and global setting

Diverse culture, good employee benefits, global footprint, well-known brand, established organisation. Management is open to new ideas, and bringing the organisation to remain competitive.

too much politics

too much politics; hardwork alone wont l et you survive here. disappointed in bosses' promises when most of them are not achieved and forgotten after a while.

Excellent second home satisfaction

Good management support, peers support and inter department support. Work life balance is strongly encouraged by the institution. Staff given sufficient training and guidance. Sufficient tools related to our jobs were provided. Recognition on performance is well practised and given top priority by the management to boost staff morale

Governance and decision making challenges

Often challenged in making quick decisions primarily as a result of unnecessary and bloated governance and due process. Ultimately, there is a risk averse culture in some business lines that ultimately leads to the introduction of risk, waste, inefficiency and increased costs.

Ability to manage your time.

Persistent obligation to adhere to the status quo when there are better alternatives.
