Great work from home opportunity

I found this job to be stimulating and intellectually challenging. The job I had a a medical writer exposed my to many different fields of medical research, and I got to learn quite a bit as I went along. Because most of my colleagues worked from home, there was no workplace culture to speak of, but there was one in general. We were encouraged to communicate with each other. There was not one typical day, there was a lot of flexibility in the work day - because we worked with clients globally, we had to be willing to engage at different hours, but on the other hand, we could take time off for personal reasons mid-day. We were not "on call, 24/7" - it was toe norm to ask someone if they were available for a call, before making one. I felt there was a good work-life balance. We received assignments, and as long as the work proceeded, all was well.
