Enriching and enjoyable experience
A customer would always find themselves having the need to seek help from by contacting the customer service hotline, whenever they have queries or doubts. I am also a customer once, with similar positive or negative experiences as most of you with regards to customer service.

Only after working at TeleDirect, I was able to appreciate the discipline and effort by call agents when I was attached to work closely with Singapore Airline's call center. This work experience allowed me to conduct quality assurance and sentiment analysis using data from customer reviews to improve the airline service quality within a short period of time.

Productive and fast pace
It is a new environment for me when i get into the company. My previous job background was face to face with customers. However, the new job is communication through phone and explained to them the condition and term for air ticket. I did enjoyed in this job because i had a great team member that has provided me lots of guidance and support while i'm facing difficulty.

Company provided medical insurance benefit and travel bonus which work more than 1 and half years. The office of the company is great and comfortable. They provided branded coffee machine for us so that we enjoy it.

However, work environment is as usual stressful and without work life balance.

Great Team and Fun Company
Great team and bonding, high basic and contact center environment. The company is always creating occasion and feast to bond and know more people. Company provide continuous internal training for potential staff and window to grow if possible. One of the best option, if you prefer a contact center environment.

However, very high volume of work with multi-tasking required and strict procedure to comply on work.

Only work there for a few months, but is definitely a fun place to work! You get to work with your friends, and hang out. The job is simple too! But definitely not for a permanent job.

A daily call centre job, working under ACRA.

The things I've learn are mainly on how government would want business to be registered and what type of entity is more suitable for each business.


Workplace culture, usually colleagues are helpful when you asked for help.


Hardest part of the job is that, different colleague explain or help out differently. For example when you are unsure of certain product /question and you asked Colleague A for advice and then you went ahead to ask Colleague B for second advice when A is busy. You'll get 2 different answers. It makes it sounds like 1 product, 2 different explanation.


Having fun trainers to guide you thru the learning process.

Alot of activities
Working in a call centre can be abit challenging to some people as you will be dealing with calls from inbound/outbound. Outbound calls is pretty straight forward compare to inbound as you won't know what to expect when you receive calls from customers.

Doing inbound calls is quite challenging as there are alot of information to absorb with no proper training given. When you are officially handling calls, you will experience different types of customers or requests/questions etc.


KPI is very important to the company because that is where you will receive the incentive. Also, company will also organise events or activities monthly.


Hardest part of the job is receiving calls from customers and you won't be able to know what to expect. Everyday is a new experience.


Enjoyable part is free snacks, drinks from the pantry. There are also vending machines when we can buy snacks/drinks.

To be fair, its a up growing company, this company keep reviewing itself and improving itself always. Try to become bigger and better.
Sometimes it does not really valuable those who really can work.

Most managers do not try their best to help/find solution for employee when met difficult situation.

The company has a lot of company benefits but has little work culture. most of the staffs are foreign and they bring the culture of only working closely with their on country men.

Learnt a lot about advertising on Facebook. Colleagues are helpful The pay is relatively high. Management needs to take care of employee's training and benefits too and not to only take care of their relationship with Facebook.
