Internship training ground

I think overall company culture and people were ok. Was a former employee who left more than 10 years ago so hopefully the culture and management improved. Rank and profile employees received lower wage while manager pay were above average for hospitality industry. Great training ground for graduates.

Pros

Free lunches, diversified culture

Cons

Long hours depending on your reporting department

Tiring but fun workplace.

Currently working as an intern in Ritz for In-room dining. It is a fast paced environment but fun to work as especially with friends. Colleagues most are fine.

Pros

Free lunches

Cons

Long hours have to stand up to 6 hours.

fun work place

great place to work at. nice enviroment. Competent team, clear goal, good work-life balance, most managers are easy to work with, cross-team collaboration could be challenging due to geo and time zone difference. But in general nice place to work.

Fun workplace

I worked at The Ritz - Carlton Millenia for a day 3 event for the Formula 1 Grand Prix, unfortunately I did not have to chance to discover much about the hotel or get to know very well the people I had worked with but in the short time that I was there I could see that the Ritz was an interesting place to be working in.

Pros

Good food

Cons

Long hours

Great environment, everyone really embraces the ideals of the company

Being ladies and gentlemen of the Ritz Carlton is serious business. It is a standard by which those who work there hold themselves to. It is having pride in your work, it is showing up 15 minutes early for work, it is staying until the job is done, it is making sure that every guest who walks through our doors is comfortable and leaves with a smile and fond memories. The hardest part of the job is making sure that no matter how things are outside of work, you don't let it affect the way you interact with guests. Also, the food provided wasn't great, but you get used to it after a while and complaining about the food is a great way to bond with co-workers.

I learn so many thinks which is important for hospitality filed such as quality service, engaging with our guest ect. Staff, management and culture of job is really amazing. Hardest part is, not enough staff when we really busy, but we still manage to work together, work hard and satisfy each and every guest who workign in to our restaurant. I enjoy every part of this job
