Internship training ground
Banquet (Former Employee) - Singapore - December 19, 2022
I think overall company culture and people were ok. Was a former employee who left more than 10 years ago so hopefully the culture and management improved. Rank and profile employees received lower wage while manager pay were above average for hospitality industry. Great training ground for graduates.
Pros
Free lunches, diversified culture
Cons
Long hours depending on your reporting department

Loss Prevention Team leader (Current Employee) - scotts road - October 6, 2019
great place to work at. nice enviroment.
Competent team, clear goal, good work-life balance, most managers are easy to work with, cross-team collaboration could be challenging due to geo and time zone difference. But in general nice place to work.

Great environment, everyone really embraces the ideals of the company
Guest Relations Officer (Former Employee) - Millenia Walk, Singapore - May 9, 2015
Being ladies and gentlemen of the Ritz Carlton is serious business. It is a standard by which those who work there hold themselves to. It is having pride in your work, it is showing up 15 minutes early for work, it is staying until the job is done, it is making sure that every guest who walks through our doors is comfortable and leaves with a smile and fond memories.
The hardest part of the job is making sure that no matter how things are outside of work, you don't let it affect the way you interact with guests. Also, the food provided wasn't great, but you get used to it after a while and complaining about the food is a great way to bond with co-workers.
