I worked as a software development consultant at for a year and a half for my first job out of college. Great place to work with smart people! I gained a lot of experience working on a wide variety of projects. Just be prepared for a lot of travel!

Invigorating and stimulating environment that caters primarily to developers

Amazing company that has gone through a lot of changes since being acquired by Apax, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm in 2016. As much as I like working here, I also long to be a first-class citizen in my organization. I don't feel as if ThoughtWorks takes very good care of the non-developer workers.

Lots of Smart People, Poor Worklife Balance

I came in as part of the associate consultant program, a program for new graduates to train within ThoughtWorks. I find that while there's lots of intelligent people to work with, the work life balance is poor. Often new grads are working 5-10hrs in excess of the 40 hour work week in order to complete extra work given to "upskill" them. Can feel a bit cult-like in how much people love the company, but overall the people are great to work with.
