A good experience
I worked in the kitchen crew, serving food during the F1 race.
My job was to portion the food and inform the chef if the food was running low. As part of the kitchen crew, my day started at 2pm. Probably because of the location I was posted to, I would work till past 12 midnight for all 3 days.
The working atmosphere itself was pretty relaxed, especially before the race where there were no customers. The chefs were also kind people who cared about our well-being. They would constantly remind us to drink water as the weather was sweltering. They would also urge us to take a rest when there were not many customers in the afternoon, as there would be more at night.
The hardest part about the job was probably the heat and the smoke from the satay. The weather was unbelievably hot, and I believe wearing a black T-shirt did not help. Fortunately, it gets better once you get past the afternoon.
The most enjoyable part of the job was probably the people I met there. I got to work with many amazing and nice people. As we were near the concert area, there was also music and cheers that made the atmosphere more lively.Management Trainee in Singapore

As a working adult who has been in the workforce for more than 2 and a half decades, it is shocking and traumatizing to have witnessed a working environment that is / has - Extremely Low Retention Rate of Staff - Outlets / Brands (16 Brands in total under the Tung Lok Group) managed by some of the most unprofessional & demeaning General Managers, specifically the Chinese Brands i.e. TL XiHe Peking Duck, TL Signature, TL Seafood, TL Lokkee etc. - an extremely demoralizing working environmentManagement Trainee in Singapore

Best workplace to work and learning for F&B
Working hours quite tough but you can enjoy the working time with all the colleagues.
