It is a good place to work. And you can expect a good balance between work and life. However, it seems some during some time the process is kind of slow, and you can not make progress fast.

Great standards that will guide you through the day to day activities. I was able to get more familiar with the midstream equipments. Management was always clear and aligned with the strategic vision and mission. The hardest part of the job was cutting budget. In overall it has been one of the best experiences to work in this company.

Typical day starts with a safety meeting then releive operator on duty go over job task with crew for the day asigh jobs ( guaging tanks, checking temps and pressures of tanks and vessels,respot rail cars for loading and unloading, inter guages in to the pepi system)

I was only a temp at Vopak but the head manager of the CSR area was not a good leader whatsoever. She was never at the location I worked at, therefore she was never able to oversee anyone's work and yet she decided to just end my assignment one time for no reason. Also, when a position for the CSR job became available and one of my co-workers recommended me she wouldn't even consider interviewing me because she claimed I didn't have enough experience, yet I was working in the exact position they were hiring for.

Mijn agenda wordt voor een belangrijk deel ingenomen door meetings met de vele interne stakeholders mbt nieuwe en lopende capex projecten. . Mijn core aktviteiten zijn het onderhandelen van grote contracten met leveranciers, category management, supplier management, ontwikkelen van internationaal category management ism divisie en het aansturen van een 5-koppig aankoopteam. Het is boeiend om op hoog niveau complexe onderhandelingen te voeren waarbij strategie een belangrijke invloed heeft. De ondersteuning van een top aankoopteam is daarbij cruciaal. Ik zou graag als procurement manager op een hoger niveau willen werken als lid van het MT. Dit is echter niet mogelijk.

Open cultuur waar zeer veel ruimte is voor eigen initiatief.

Allround operator bij Vopak Europoort

Ik werk als operator bij de Vopak Europoort. Het is een leuk bedrijf met aardige collega's en niet te alt moeilijke werkzaamheden. Het is een groot bedrijf daarom word je elke dag ingedeeld in bepaalde plekken op het terminal. Je hebt te maken met binnenvaartschepen en zeeschepen die laden of lossen. De Terminal heeft circa 100 tanks. De leidingen, pompen, tanks en de schepen worden regelmatig gecontroleerd voor bijvoorbeeld lekkage's. Ik heb geen moeite met mijn werk. Het leukste aan mijn werk is controleren of alles goed loopt en aan en afkoppelen van de schepen.

É uma boa empresa porem como toda empresa ela que obter lucro normal o que eu acho que ela deveria valorisar mais seus empregados, eu atuo na área de manutenção tenho a função de eletricista de manutenção e atuo na área de automação instrumentação mecanica e ganho somente como eletricista.Trabalho 24h de plantão e somente eu pra atender 4 área ede estancagem,vou parar de falar o que faço poque vai parece choradeira.
