If you get nice manager then it’s a good place to work

Usual retail work. Fast phase working style. Benefits Barr good. Job not secure for foreigners. Friendly co workers. Sometimes long hours to work. Only 1 day off every week.

Company cares during Challenging Time

I am glad to work with Watsons as the company cares for the staff especially during this challenging time of the pandemic. My peers are nice and my boss also good.

Many years of experience in retail. No place likes Watsons that care for the staff genuinely. Many appreciations have been given by the management for our hard work. Thumb up!

Evey staff works as a team, helping each other during the tour of duty. Good well done to all my team members. You all have made the company proud of you.

Fun working place with great colleagues

Watson’s is a fun working place. Nice superiors and colleagues. Good staff benefits and welfare. You won’t feel like dragging yourself to work. It is achieving with good career progression. HR staff are great during on boarding and constantly checking me out during probation period to see whether I have faced any difficulties.

same routine

6days work and two shift with 8hrs. Morning and afternoon. Basic cashiering and merchandising job. Practically u have no life when you do 6days work but a company with no pressure.

Enjoyable Experience at Watsons

I've worked at Watsons' since December as a Part-Time Customer Assistant (Cashier) before being entering tertiary education. Graduates who have finished O Levels can consider to join Watsons' Personal Care Store as a cashier / customer assistant. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SHIFT TYPES Morning shifts would mostly start at 9am, and you have 1 hour to help out your colleagues to clear the incoming stock that arrived the night before. This might be a little boring to do depending on how big your store is. Afternoon shifts can be a little busy if you work at a Mall Outlet and depending on the promotion cycle that the company is currently holding. Shifts wise : 8 hour shifts would have a 1 hour break included. 5 hour shifts would not have a break. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ MANAGEMENT Management Team in my store were very friendly and family feels. However, this would depend on what kind of people you would be working with. (Everyone is different) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ EXPERIENCE The enjoyable part of the job being a cashier, is that you get to have the experience to interact with currency. Human interaction is also particularly important when there are customers that come by often. I have met a few regulars in my store and they appreciate the friendly service I offer. The hardest parts of the job are 1. Help your outlet to reach a certain quota. You have to try to push sales for the store -

No workline balance at all

Unbais review after working at watsons. Management is good Salary considered alright but the problem is the hours. Can OT up to more than 10 hours a day and hard to take leave. The job requires you to service people the whole day so at the end of the day you will be drained and too tired. Rinse and repeat + not understanding customers will make you want to rage. Watsons need to take care of their people better if you want good results. More time off would be good especially for staff who are really working their best. Fall sick very often due to the unhealthy lifestyle and grow fat fast.
