Usual working hours 8am to 6pm as in the contract. But its a sin to leave at 6pm all your colleagues will look at you as if you're lazy. OT until 10pm as it is very fast paced especially when the project is delayed. No time to learn from you seniors because of the working condition, you will learn from experience.

No mid year and end year bonus, long working hours, effort will not be appreciated only if you are friends with the management

You get to play a part in the built environment industry. Common to overtime, need reach by around 8am, consider very lucky if you can leave by 7pm. Of course can learn many many.

Typically report at 8am, knock off at 9 pm and beyond. Contract says around 6pm but usually will overtime. If OT until next morning, will be given half day off.

Toxic work environment. Treats security staff like dirt. Management at site talks down to staff. Management not approachable for guidance. Work guidelines not clearly explained upon on boarding process. Senior management is constantly fault finding. No welfare - no progress pathway

Stable employment for those who work hard

Worked for almost 13 years in the company. It's a company that is still old school, top-down style of management although they are trying to promote younger, more modern managers to lead the company. No work-life balance.

Good Work and Life Balance

I work 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, there is usually no overtime for employees. The people are friendly and easy to get along enough and I get to learn from them as all my work comes in a form of assisting them in their jobs. I cannot mention much of the company benefits as I am only a temporary staff so I don't know clearly on their benefits. But they do provide free transport after work to certain MRT stations. The workplace culture and environment is pleasant and positive.
