Tiring yet fun workplace
Part Time Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - MBS - November 24, 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedCo-workers were mostly quite young, with a few older ones here and there. Most of them were really friendly, and treated each other like family. However, shifts can be really long which can be tiring.

Fast paced and Independent
Operations Assistant (Former Employee) - Singapore - November 26, 2023
You need to be independent and learn how to use their systems and be efficient at it. Some days, store can be crowds means back end there will be a lot things to do and fulfill. All staff are friendly!

Zara Ion
Sales Executive (Former Employee) - Orchard - September 24, 2023
Overall pay is good for a entry level job. (Shared Commission) Colleagues are quite okay, once you get to know them they're pretty helpful. As long as you do your part, you'll be able to mingle well with the others. Peak hours can be pretty hectic, especially when you're doing doing Fitting Room duties or Stockroom duties (To replenish the item shop on the shop floor, and make sure quantity tally in the stockroom.)

Fun workplace
Sales Executive (Current Employee) - Sembawang - May 13, 2023
the company has a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and collaboration. The company values its employees and provides training and development opportunities to help them grow professionally. Zara's management is known for being supportive and approachable, and the company offers a range of benefits and perks to its employees, including discounts on clothing and flexible scheduling. However, as with any fast-paced retail environment, working at Zara can be physically demanding and require a lot of energy and focus. Employees must be able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, as Zara is known for its quick turnaround times and high volume of customers. Overall, working at Zara can be a great opportunity for those who are passionate about fashion and are looking for a challenging and rewarding work environment. However, like any job, it may not be the right fit for everyone, and it's important to do your research and make sure that it aligns with your career goals and values.

Fast paced and tiring
Part timer (Former Employee) - Ion orchard - April 29, 2022
The part timers are okay but the store manager and majority of the full timers are really rude and arrogant. They expect you to know how to do every thing without teaching you and then get mad when you make a mistake. They will also bad mouth about you in their language. No wonder they are short staffed
Pros
No pros
Cons
Everything lol. You can work here if you dont mind the stress and body aches

Great place to increase work productivity.
Sales Executive (Former Employee) - Singapore - November 17, 2021
The working environment is good overall. The most challenging part is to deal with the crowd and tons of workload on peak season because the company is always understaffed.

Work experience
Part Time Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Vivo City - June 17, 2020
Working in Zara allows us to learn new skills every other day with new types of materials and fashion styles. However, with insufficient manpower but high volume of customers, we often have to juggle a few customers at a go
Pros
New skills almost Everyday.

Extremely terrible working environment
Retail Assistant (Part-Time) (Former Employee) - HarbourFront - January 2, 2020
-Very Long hours
-Tiring
-Rude colleagues
They are not able to treat me/other part-timers with basic respect
I got yelled at by the supervisor in charge of Trafa section in front of customers.
Definitely wasn’t my fault since I was doing my work to my utmost best.
In general,part-timers in Zara Vivo city are treated like dirt.

especial experince
Sale Associate/Cashier (Former Employee) - Singapore - December 17, 2018
As we provided new products, we were absolutely responsible for our customers to give them accurate information about products. moreover, we should be respectful and help them feel satisfied.
I tried to fulfill all tasks with the most satisfying behavior, being patient and calm, and being motivating by my job. I have relevant skills and wanted to be helpful and successful as much as I can. And I got the best award after working for special brands.
people worked as a group and helped each other very well particularly when we had very hard customers who were not satisfied with any kind of services.
I enjoyed a lot working with beauty products were I am really interested.
