Social goals and commitments at Indeed
As the world’s number one job site, we have the ability and responsibility to help end unemployment. That’s why we have three ambitious goals meant to transform hiring over the next 10 years.
Make job search faster and simpler

We strive to create a world where all job seekers, regardless of their background or circumstance, can find a job they love quickly and easily.

Getting a job should be faster and simpler. 40% of households would fall below the poverty line after three months with no income.1 We believe that shortening the duration of job search can have an enormous impact on society.
Remove barriers to employment with technology

We’ll improve the job search experience and get 30M people hired by increasing our capabilities in identifying, building products and pushing to market key hiring resources for those facing barriers; like no college education, bias due to ethnicity, disability, race or criminal record.

Talent is universal; Opportunity is not. Our goal is to help reduce these inequalities in hiring.

In partnership with Pratham Foundation, we will engage and support first time job seekers in India as they begin their job search.
Establish a standard for measuring and improving work happiness

Work happiness and well-being is about more than just keeping employees engaged. It's about human sustainability, economic security and psychological safety. It’s about how people choose jobs and how employers build workplace cultures — increasing everyone’s ability to thrive.
