Fiber Technician - Training Provided - Singaporean Only

TRT Solutions is recruiting for Singaporean Nationals to be recruited and trained to become vendor certified Optic Field Engineers.

- Successful candidates will be trained on Nokia/Cisco/Juniper as optic technicians

- Developing skills in installation, troubleshooting, and confident decision-making.

Typical Day:

• Provide technical support for IP product suites and related Network Management Systems, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Gain understanding of customer network architecture and prioritize issues for resolution.
• Serve as point of contact with internal and external support teams, leading restoration efforts and providing regular updates.
• Attend meetings to address escalated technical issues and track them to closure.
• Manage end-to-end outage restoration and coordinate with Level 2/3/4 teams.
• Build strong partnerships with customers and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Function effectively in ambiguous circumstances.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 3 to 10 years of experience with Nokia IP product lines and related network management systems.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, including routing protocols, OSPF/ISIS, BGP, Multicast, QoS, and IP/MPLS is preferred.
• Experience in network design, traffic analysis, troubleshooting, and software upgrades.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong team/project management experience.
