Full job description
We are a dynamic resin art studio specialising in high-quality art supplies, including being the appointed distributor for Jesmonite in Southeast Asia. In addition to retail, we conduct hands-on art workshops. As we expand our business to serve more markets, we are seeking an organised and proactive Studio Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, manage logistics, and drive growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the studio, including opening and closing procedures.
- Manage and maintain inventory of art supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and reordering when necessary.
- Coordinate with suppliers and handle procurement for both local retail and export needs.
- Ensure the studio space is clean, organized, and operationally efficient.
2. Logistics and Distribution Management:
- Handle logistics for exporting Jesmonite and other products to Southeast Asian markets.
- Plan and track shipments, ensuring timely deliveries to distributors and B2B clients.
- Develop and maintain systems for inventory tracking, stock replenishment, and order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with freight companies and ensure all shipping documentation is in order.
3. Workshop Coordination:
- Schedule and manage art workshops with freelance instructors.
- Ensure workshops run smoothly, including preparation of materials and attendee registration.
- Assist in developing new workshop concepts to attract diverse audiences.
4. Sales and Customer Service:
- Handle in-studio and online sales inquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service to retail and workshop clients.
- Work towards meeting monthly sales and revenue targets.
5. Marketing and Outreach:
- Support promotional activities, including managing the studio’s social media accounts.
- Assist in developing marketing campaigns for workshops, products, and Jesmonite distribution.
- Explore opportunities for collaboration with local artists and communities to grow brand visibility.
Requirements:
- Education & Experience: Diploma or degree in logistics, arts, business management, or related fields. At least 2 years of experience in retail, logistics, or arts-related roles is preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational, logistics, and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with social media and marketing is a plus.
- Bonus Skills: Knowledge of resin art or creative arts is highly desirable.

Work Location:
- 37 Beach Road (Bugis / Raffles City Area)
Commitment:
- Full-time: 5 days / week
- Tuesday to Saturday. (Required to work on Saturdays)
Remuneration:
- Basic of $3000 + sales commission (negotiable depending on suitability and work experience)
