Tooling Technician

What you’ll be doing:

Joining Ashtead Technology as a Tooling Technician, you will have the opportunity work with a team of talented professionals dedicated to providing the best technology solutions for the global energy sector.

Your role is key in supporting the execution of ROV Tooling projects. Day-to-day you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, repair and preparation of ROV Tooling equipment.

Some other things that will help you to succeed in this role?

• You will have some experience in and ROV Tooling/ROV Pilot role or experience in a mechanical based role e.g. Mechanic, Gas Engineer
• You have previous experience in a technician role undertaking repair, maintenance and testing of ROV Tooling or mechanical equipment, preferably in a subsea environment (but not essential)

Desirable but not essential experience?

• You have knowledge of ROV Tooling, Torque Tools, Valve Packs, Cutters, LAOT’S, IHPU’S & a solid understanding of hydraulics/electrics, with the ability to read schematics, including fault finding
• You can read and implement engineering drawings
