Job Overview

We are seeking passionate and experienced Portfolio Tutors / Art & Design Instructors to guide students in developing strong art and design portfolios and preparing for university applications. The ideal candidate will combine solid academic background, professional art & design practice, and excellent communication and teaching skills to inspire and mentor students.

Academic Background (Preferred)

  • Graduated from institutions with QS Ranking and QS Art & Design Ranking
  • Educational background preference:
  • Art & Design BA (3–4 years)
  • Art & Design MA (1-year transfer programs accepted)
  • Candidates will be evaluated holistically based on:
  • Strength of personal portfolio
  • Teaching experience
  • Art & design practice
  • Personality and communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor students in portfolio development for art & design-related university applications
  • Provide academic and creative guidance tailored to individual student goals and levels
  • Assist students with concept development, project execution, and presentation
  • Offer feedback on creative work and help refine artistic direction
  • Support students throughout the university application process, including portfolio reviews
  • Foster a positive, motivating, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Art, Design, or related disciplines from reputable colleges or universities
  • Strong personal portfolio and relevant design/project experience
  • Prior experience in art & design education and/or university application guidance is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong passion and enthusiasm for art education, with a high sense of responsibility and professionalism
