Job Title: Assistant Cook

Location: 61 Robinson Road #01-04, S’pore 068893
Salary: $3000 - $4000

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Assistant Cook to support our kitchen operations. The successful candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and help ensure meals are prepared efficiently and consistently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and is eager to develop culinary skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing ingredients, including washing, cutting, peeling, and portioning food items.
  • Support the Cook/Chef in meal preparation and cooking activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Store food items properly and monitor stock levels.
  • Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen supplies and deliveries.
  • Dispose of waste appropriately and keep kitchen areas tidy.
  • Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Cook or Kitchen Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and kitchen safety practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required.

Preferred Qualifications
