Family Group: Allied Health
Responsibilities
Perform specimen receipt/ rejection according to standard operating procedures.
Perform proper transportation, handling, storage of specimens.
Process specimens and/or perform laboratory tests according to Operation Guidelines (OPG).
Perform basic troubleshooting of analyser/ equipment malfunction.
Perform appropriate QC/ calibration.
Attend to request for information (e.g. specimen information, laboratory results) and/or material (e.g. blood tubes, slides, blocks).
Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Biomedical Science or equivalent
Good communication skills
Good attending skills, typing and computer skills. Possess a non judgmental attitude.
