Marine & Ops Assist Superintendent

Job Description & Requirements

• Handling daily ships voyage, Technical & operational matters of Chemical &Oil Tankers , like to solve the ships' technical matters, and issuing voyage instructions, handling of BLs and LOIs etc.
• Responsible for the day and day cargo operations/arrangements of chemical tankers you in charge, and update the ships' schedule to all involved parties including ships' owner.
• Monitor cargo loading / unloading and closely update shipment status, and ship machinery status.
• Negotiate and finalize commercial terms with Captains, C/Es, ship owners, broker & other parties.
• To compile and review the voyage reports from ships' master.
• Ensure that all chartering & operations' matters for vessels assigned to are in compliance with the company policies and procedures.
• Assist in daily managing administration within Ship Technical/Operation Team.
• Responsible for the arrangements of crew changes if need, and flow of information to vessels, seafarers and other involved parties.
• Ensure that crew permits, invitation letters, guarantee letters, travel itinerary are obtained in prior to mobilization.
• Assist to compile and prepare Technical/Marine management reports.
• Assist in day-to-day Ships‘ ’operations for office.
• Minimum Diploma, preferable in Marine/chemical tankers related background
• Pleasant personalities mature, with good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication in English . Proficiency English & Chinese with oral & read will be more advantage.
• Good skill in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook will be advantageous.
• Good sense of responsibility and self-motivation, take initiative and well organized.
• Working across time zones and prompt resolution of issues in hand
• Able to work in a multinational and multicultural environment
• Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and teamwork

in Hong Kong in Nov 2008 . TSM also sent up the
branch office in HongKong, Singapore, Shanghai,
Myanmar and Bagladesh. TSM has a concise

Currently, we are responsible for the full technical
management of more than 15 oil/chemical tankers
with total DWT more than 550,000 tons. Including
VLCC and asphalt tanker. In 2014,TSM successfully
managed the IMO II oil/chemical tanker with DWT
23000 ton by Time Charter and MT Taihua Venture
with DWT 8000 by Bareboat Charter.
On Apr,2016,TSM has managed MT Taihua Glory
with DWT 11500 ton BY Bareboat Charter.
Our crew manning company of TSM has successfully
dispatch the 30 sets of crew for our all vessels. The
crew amount is more than 1000.10 sets of them are
mixed with Chinese crew, Burmese crew, Indonesia
crew and Vietnamese crew. Our Burmese crew
amount is more than 100 since the beginning of
2016.Under the case of ensuring the safety of ship
operation, we save a lot of personnel cost for the
owner.
