Job Summary:

A Business Analyst (BA) acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and technicalteams. BA evaluate operations, analyze data, and translate organizational goalsinto actionable requirements to improve efficiency, solve problems, and drivestrategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Current Analysis of Business Operation and System

• Discover and document the current product map, workflows, programs, interfaces, data structures, system components, security setup, and reporting.

• Ensure all specifications are kept up to date in close cooperation with the Customer.

2. APAC Regional Model Definition

• Define a standardized template that can be repeatedly applied at the regional level.

• Cover both business perspectives (product, workflow, reporting) and technical perspectives (system, data, interfaces).

• Map the To‑Be solution functions to the Target Operating Model (TOM) to create a standardized blueprint.

3. Fit & Gap Analysis

• Perform a comprehensive gap analysis between the current Seoul Branch environment and the defined Regional Model.

• Review in detail:

i. Functional requirements

ii. Integration aspects

iii. Data migration strategy

iv. Infrastructure and security architecture

v. Use the analysis findings as the foundation for the subsequent design phase.

4. Requirement Specification

• Specify the overall solution components for the Seoul Branch, reflecting the results of the gap analysis.

• Create the first draft of the implementation plan.

• Develop a templated structure for the Regional Model as a flexible reference architecture for future country rollouts.

• Conduct all design activities jointly with both country and regional teams to ensure alignment and reusability.

5. Design of System

• Detailed technical design of applications, data model and infrastructure.

• Configuration of infrastructure hardware and software

• Detailed design of end-to-end business processes

1. Requirements Elicitation and Analysis

• Gather, clarify, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements

• Translate stakeholder needs into clear and actionable specifications

• Identify dependencies, constraints, assumptions, and risks

2. Business Process Analysis

• Analyze current-state and future-state business processes

• Create process maps, workflows, and operating models

• Identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement

3. Fit-Gap Analysis

• Assess differences between current business operations and target solutions

• Identify required changes in processes, systems, data, and controls

• Support prioritization of gaps based on business impact

4. Stakeholder Management

• Communicate effectively with business users, management, IT teams, and external partners

• Facilitate workshops, interviews and review sessions

• Align cross-functional stakeholders on scope, priorities, and expected outcomes

5. Documentation Skills

• Prepare high-quality business requirement documents, functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation

• Maintain clear, structured, and up-to-date project documentation

• Ensure traceability from requirements to solution design and delivery

6. Data Analysis

• Understand and analyze business data, data flows, and data structures

• Support data mapping, data quality assessment, and reporting requirements

• Interpret findings to support decision-making

7. System and Interface Understanding

• Understand system landscapes, application components, and interfaces

• Collaborate with technical teams on integration points and solution impacts

• Support analysis of system changes and technical dependencies

8. Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking

• Break down complex business issues into manageable components

• Evaluate options and recommend practical solutions

• Balance business needs with technical feasibility and project constraints

9. Communication and Presentation Skills

• Present analysis results, recommendations, and project updates clearly

• Tailor communication to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Write concise and professional reports, summaries, and meeting materials

10. Testing and Validation Support

• Support definition of acceptance criteria and test scenarios

• Validate whether delivered solutions meet business requirements

• Assist in user acceptance testing and issue resolution

11. Project and Planning Skills

• Manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables within assigned scope

• Support implementation planning and requirement tracking

• Work effectively in structured project environments

12. Domain and Business Knowledge

• Understand the relevant industry, business model, and operational context

• Apply domain knowledge to improve solution relevance and quality

• Recognize regulatory, compliance and governance considerations where applicable
