Key Responsibilities

  • Support and work closely with the current Portfolio Manager in managing the investment portfolio.
  • Assist in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management across US (primary focus) and Hong Kong (secondary focus) equity markets.
  • Assist in managing portfolios with flexible asset allocation ranges across equities, fixed income, ETFs, and alternative investments in accordance with investment mandates and market opportunities.
  • Contribute to investment strategy development, market analysis, and identification of investment opportunities in public equity markets.
  • Conduct fundamental research and financial analysis on listed companies, as well as macroeconomic and sector trends.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and assist in preparing regular investment updates and reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure the portfolio adheres to internal investment guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Support the development of the investment team, including mentoring junior analysts and sharing investment insights.

Requirements

  • Approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience in portfolio management or investment roles, with strong exposure to both US (primary focus) and Hong Kong (secondary focus) markets.
  • Proven track record of co-managing or contributing to a portfolio of at least US$200 million in AUM .
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to achieving an average annual portfolio return of approximately 15% (target or benchmark-based) .
  • Experience working in a team-based investment environment, supporting or co-leading portfolio management functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; Master’s degree and/or CFA designation preferred.
  • Experience in public equity secondary markets is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, investment research, and portfolio management skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
