The Role

We're looking for a skilled 2nd Cook to support our kitchen operations in preparing high-quality Tingkat meals and catering orders. You'll work closely with the Head Chef to execute daily menus, maintain kitchen standards, and ensure timely meal production for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes according to standardized recipes and specifications

Assist Head Chef in daily meal preparation for Tingkat subscriptions and catering orders

Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet brand standards

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas

Follow food safety and hygiene protocols (SFA standards)

Assist with inventory checks, stock rotation, and ingredient preparation

Support kitchen team during peak production hours

Report any quality or operational issues to Head Chef

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years cooking experience in commercial kitchen, restaurant, or catering environment

Proficiency in Asian home-style cooking and local dishes

Basic food safety knowledge (WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 or willingness to obtain)

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

Team player with good communication skills

Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods

Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, or public holidays as needed
