Full job description

Drive budget management, cost optimization, and enhance the economic and financial performance of one or more business entities (Business Unit, Sales Department, Plant Management, or Group Function). This includes leading the forecasting and budgeting process, preparing and analyzing critical data to monitor business activity and support decision-making, challenging assumptions, and assessing the financial impact of operational decisions and projects. Additionally, contribute to periodic and annual closing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Alert hierarchical and functional management of any major deviation and propose corrective actions.

  • Act as the “right hand” of the Management to translate operational decisions into financial impacts.

  • Take initiative: make proposal to Management during strategic discussions and train other members of the organization.

  • Facilitate local change management actions

  • Established and validate budget under supervision of SEA Controlling Manager

  • Estimate and validate monthly and year end provisions under supervision of SEA Controlling Manager (Stock. LDs, Claims, LMO)

  • Validate purchase requisition during SCT process

Closing preparation:

  • Legal Entity in Singapore (Accessories product line, OCTG Trading product line, SEA HQ)

  • Check invoicing entries, prepare monthly accruals, manage inventory movements, check GL/CC mapping.

  • Extract monthly transactions from ERP and prepare P&L to be reported in Group Reporting System in due time.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Business units P&L (Accessories product line, OCTG Trading, PLPPI Trading, SEA HQ, Services product line)

  • Prepare monthly analysis: Sales & Profitability by business, adaptation of plant resources, headcounts movements.

  • Review the cash generation of the Entities (working capital: collection of receivables, inventory, payables)

  • Perform variance analysis and comment main gaps versus Budget & last month forecast.

  • Build the Sales/Profitability/Cash Forecast for the current quarter.

Financial & Business review:

  • Prepare the monthly financial report to be sent to EH Region HQ

  • Animate the monthly meeting organized by SVP MEA and VP Controlling and defend Singapore entity performance.

Business partnering:

  • Bring Support to the Accessories Director by identifying business opportunities and assess investments’ choices.

  • Anticipate, alert & recommend business decisions to ensure targets are met.

  • Update and improve Accessories standard costing model and challenge the Factory’s manufacturing efficiency.
