We’re looking for a Materials / Corrosion Engineer Level I to join our Singapore team.
As a Materials / Corrosion Engineer Level I , you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of materials and corrosion engineering work for offshore, onshore energy projects. Assist senior engineers in preparing technical deliverables, performing engineering analyses, and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in energy / oil & gas industry and familiarity with coatings, cathodic protection, and welding practices.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Materials / Corrosion Engineer Level I to join our team in Singapore .
The role responsibilities include:
- Assist in preparation of design basis / Basis of Design (BoD).
- Prepare engineering deliverables such as reports, specifications, MTOs, and registers.
- Support materials selection, corrosion assessments, and coating specifications.
- Perform basic engineering analysis, modelling, and simulations under guidance.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors on technical matters.
- Assist in material requisitions (MRs) and vendor documentation review.
- Participate in QA/QC checks and design reviews.
- Support failure investigations and root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and HSE requirements.
What you’ll have
- Bachelor's degree in Materials, Metallurgical, Corrosion or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in energy / oil & gas industry preferred.
- Knowledge of materials behaviour, degradation, and corrosion mechanisms.
- Familiarity with coatings, cathodic protection, and welding practices.
- Awareness of industry standards such as DNV, ASME, API, ISO.
- Basic proficiency in engineering software/tools like ECE 5.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
