Data Scientist –

APAC / Global Markets

Singapore/Hong Kong

A leading quantitative trading firm is growing its data platform team, focused on delivering clean, reliable datasets that directly power systematic trading strategies.

You’ll sit close to the front office, working on the full lifecycle of data, from ingestion through to feature creation and research support.

Responsibilities

  • Source and integrate new datasets across multiple asset classes
  • Build robust data pipelines and backend services (Python-first stack)
  • Transform raw data into structured, research-ready inputs
  • Design data quality frameworks, alerts and reporting
  • Collaborate with researchers, traders and external data providers
  • Support analysis and exploration of new datasets

Requirements

  • Strong Python / SQL fundamentals
  • Experience with data pipelines and large-scale processing
  • Cloud or workflow tooling exposure (AWS, Airflow beneficial)
  • Quantitative background (STEM degree)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills
