Job Description
As a Graphics Layout Artist at Asiawide, you would be required to:
- Produce work according to a client’s or designer’s design brief
- Be actively involved and participative in discussions and meetings
- Produce layouts for publications
- Appropriately select formats, such as the size, style type, column width and spacing
- Accurately select and check colours
- Scan and edit photographs and other images
- Producing graphics such as diagrams, charts and tables
- Re-size design elements to fit the page
- Ensure images are positioned near the relevant portion of text
- Ensure pages and document as a whole is uncluttered and well balanced
- Work closely with customers, following up on design briefs
- Able to manage Ad-hoc jobs assigned by your Manager
Basic Requirements:
- At least 4 years of working experience
- Excellent organisation and Responsible mind-set.
- Good accountability and able to work within deadlines
- Diligent and Team player
Qualifications:
- SPM, ITE, Diploma, O or N Levels
- Knowledge of Freehand, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or QuarkXpress
- Technical Printing Knowledge
