Support clients in building halal-compliant systems and preparing complete, audit-ready applications under the applicable MUIS certification scheme.

Our training programmes are specially designed to benefit organisations and boost their productivity levels, a goal consistent with the Economic Strategies Committee of Singapore (ESC).
With strong commitment to training and development, Eduquest International Institute became an Approved Training Organisation under the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) in 2008 (Presently known as SkillsFuture Singapore - SSG), offering competency-based training programmes under the Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ). From December 2012 to May 2015, Eduquest was appointed by SSG (Previously known as WDA) as one of the Continuing Education & Training (CET) Centres for the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry. We specialise in delivering quality training programmes, conducting organisational and management assessments, as well as analysing training needs, while providing structured training programmes for individual learners as well as organisations.
Support clients in building halal-compliant systems and preparing complete, audit-ready applications under the applicable MUIS certification scheme.
Key responsibilities
- Assess halal-readiness against current MUIS Halal Certification Conditions.
- Review ingredients, suppliers, certificates, traceability and risk categorisation.
- Develop or improve halal assurance/management procedures and records.
- Support application preparation, document verification readiness and audit preparation.
- Coach the client’s halal team and management on ongoing compliance.
- Halal gap assessment.
- Ingredient/supplier verification matrix.
- Halal assurance procedures/manual.
- Application-readiness checklist.
- Audit preparation and corrective-action plan.
- Current working knowledge of MUIS Halal Certification Conditions and scheme requirements.
- Valid HCA strongly required by Eduquest for consultants leading MUIS-certification implementation work.
- At least 5 years of halal assurance, food quality, regulatory or certification-support experience.
- Experience as Halal Team Leader, Halal Assurance Officer or halal consultant.
- Food science/quality qualification.
- Internal audit or management-system training.
- 5-10+ years depending on scheme complexity.
- Should be able to train client halal teams; formal Eduquest training requires relevant adult-learning credentials.
