We are looking for a Service Technician. This is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore.

What will you be doing:

  • Be aware of risk assessment at work and at all times complying to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations
  • Able to perform workshop overhauling of engine fuel injection and turbocharger components according to the work plan as assigned by the lead engineer
  • Able to assist lead engineer on turbocharger replacement onboard vessel and on voyage.
  • Able to prepare simple calibration/inspection report to assist lead engineer with work reports
  • Able to work overtime as and when required to expedite work completion
  • Assist lead engineer to review job processes, tools or equipment/machinery to improve safety, quality and efficiency
  • Take opportunity to improve own competency and skills through cross training.
  • Be actively involved in our QEHS activities and Continuing Improvement

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Minimum O-level or ITE Certification with marine diesel engine knowledge.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience or knowledge of marine diesel engine.
  • Some basic knowledge on workplace safety, work tools and on engine mechanics theory/works.
  • Fluent in English Language
  • Quality, safety & environmental skills
  • Able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Able to travel overseas when require.
  • Valid class 3 driving license will be advantage.
  • A good attitude with willingness to learn
