Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ESG Researcher to join our research team. The successful candidate will contribute to cutting-edge research on the intersection of sustainability and financial risk in equity portfolios, supporting the development of ESG-integrated portfolio analytics used by institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute autonomously to the research effort related to Scientific Portfolio activities in the ESG and Climate dimension, under the supervision of the ESG and Climate Research Director.

• Participate in the selection, qualification, and integration of ESG data obtained through partnerships with various specialized providers, in line with our strategic positioning.

• Contribute to the production of original content, including case studies and research articles, to provide methodological transparency to the market and our clients, and to highlight research work.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the portfolio analysis and construction platform through the delivery of functional code libraries, the definition of user logic, technical specifications, and associated technical documentation, as well as the design of the user interface.

• Participate in communication and marketing efforts accompanying the platform launch through videos, webinars, and, where appropriate, participation in physical events.

• Produce educational research documents.

• Design and assist in the production of application features.

Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Environmental Science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in ESG research, sustainable investing, or portfolio analytics.
• Demonstrated track record of published research in reputable financial or ESG journals.
• Strong Python programming skills and working knowledge of data engineering practices.
• Familiarity with ESG data providers such as MSCI, Sustainalytics, Moody’s, Clarity AI, ISS ESG, Trucost etc.
• Good understanding of ESG-related regulations and frameworks (e.g., SFDR, EU Taxonomy, PAB).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills.
• Passion for sustainability and innovation in investment management.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (flexible arrangements can be discussed)
