Full job description

In-house photographer and videographer for corporate, government and MICE assignments. Full-time, all gear provided, S$3,000 to S$3,600 a month.

RS Photography has shot 2,610 assignments since 2013 for 693 clients. We run 150 to 160 assignments a month with a team of 10, and we hold 4.9 stars from 297 reviews. SME500 Award Winner 2023 and 2024, Singapore Entrepreneur 100 Award 2023.

We are hiring one photographer who shoots and edits their own work.

WHAT YOU WILL SHOOT

You will shoot inside places most photographers never get into: SAF parades and commissioning ceremonies, People's Association community events, NUHS hospital campuses, MOE school milestones, ministry conferences, and international exhibitions at Marina Bay Sands and Suntec. Protocol, clearance, and knowing where to stand when the guest-of-honour arrives are part of the craft here.

This role is not a fit if you want to art-direct every frame, need a personal credit on published work, or if weddings and fashion are where your heart is. You would be bored by month two, and we would rather you knew that now.

ABOUT EXPRESS 24 - PLEASE READ THIS PROPERLY

Our promise to clients is EXPRESS 24: edited selects in their hands within 24 hours. That promise is kept by the system, not by one person staying up. Every shoot is crewed with a named editor and a backup. Culling and first-pass grade run on presets we have built across 2,610 jobs. The delivery slot is booked when we quote the job, not after the shoot. What this means for you: your edit window is planned before you leave the venue, and you are not the last line of defence at 2am.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Shoot corporate, government and MICE assignments on location across Singapore

Cull, edit and colour-grade your own work to our delivery standard

Deliver to the EXPRESS 24 timeline using our established workflow and presets

Handle on-site work end to end: recce, lighting setup, client liaison, protocol at government events

Keep gear maintained, charged, carded and accounted for

Work alongside our videographers on combined photo and video jobs

Help build the playbook the next photographer will be trained on

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

2 to 4 years shooting events, corporate or editorial work professionally. You can walk into a venue you have never seen and come back with the full set.

You edit your own work. Lightroom or Capture One to a professional standard, and fast.

Comfortable with speedlights and on-location lighting in difficult venues: backlit stages, harsh ballroom LED, dark exhibition halls.

Calm and presentable in front of senior clients and government officers.

You will carry roughly 15 to 20kg of kit across venues and be on your feet for 8 to 10 hours on event days.

CAAS-licensed drone experience is a plus, not a requirement. Aerial work currently goes to a licensed partner operator and we would look at bringing it in-house.

GEAR

All bodies, lenses, lighting, flash, cards and your editing workstation are provided by RS Photography. You never shoot a paid job on your own gear.

SCHEDULE

We operate on a 6-day work week, and the work schedule will be published weekly every Sunday.

WHAT WE OFFER

S$3,000 to S$3,600 a month basic, depending on experience

Salary review at 6 months and annually after that

A defined path to Senior Photographer and Lead Crew

CPF, annual leave, sick leave, and time off in lieu for public holidays worked

All gear and your editing workstation provided

A government and MICE portfolio you cannot build on your own

150 to 160 assignments a month means you shoot constantly. No dry months, no chasing invoices.

HOW TO APPLY - PLEASE SEND THREE THINGS

1. A link to one full event set you shot AND edited yourself. 30 to 60 finished frames from a single real assignment, not a greatest-hits gallery. Tell us which event it was and how many hours you had to deliver it.

2. Three frames shot in difficult light: a backlit stage, harsh ballroom LED, or a dark exhibition hall.

3. One line on your culling workflow and the software you use.

Google Drive, Dropbox or a website link is fine. Do not build anything for us.

Your portfolio stays yours. We will not reproduce it, share it outside the hiring panel, or use any submitted work, and we delete it once the role is filled. If we shortlist you and want a trial shoot, we pay you a half-day rate for it.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,600.00 per month

Benefits:

  • Professional development

Work Location: In person
