Alterations Seamstress (Part-Time)

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Part-Time Seamstress to handle clothing alterations for our garments. The ideal candidate is experienced in garment adjustments, detail-oriented, and able to work independently to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform clothing alterations on our garments (e.g. hemming, taking in/out, resizing, adjustments)
• Ensure proper fit and neat finishing according to company standards
• Follow alteration instructions and garment specifications carefully
• Conduct minor repairs where needed (e.g. reattaching loose or missing buttons)
• Inspect garments for quality before and after alterations
• Manage workload to meet agreed timelines

Requirements:

• Proven experience in clothing alterations or tailoring
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and fitting
• Good attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable and responsible
• Preferably owns and be able to use a personal sewing machine
