Job Description:
SB Foodie Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to support the daily operations (Night Shift) of our Thai BBQ and hotpot restaurant, Kin Tub Thai Mookata.
This is a fully operational role, where the candidate will be directly involved in food preparation, kitchen production, and maintaining consistency in food quality, while guiding junior kitchen assistants.
Key Responsibilites:
1. Perform hands-on food preparation including:
- Trimming and portioning meats
- Cleaning and preparing seafood and vegetables
- Preparing marinades, sauces, and soup bases
2. Operate kitchen equipment such as:
- Meat slicers
- Gas burners and fryers
- Combi Oven
- Electric Blenders
- Knives, Mandolin, Peelers.
3. Support daily kitchen production and ensure timely preparation of ingredients
4. Maintain food hygiene and safety standards in accordance with local regulations
5. Assist in managing stock levels and coordinate ordering of daily supplies
6. Supervise and guide kitchen assistants in food preparation processes
7. Ensure consistency and quality of food served during service periods
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on kitchen experience in food preparation or kitchen operations
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices
- Experience in South East Asian cuisine, BBQ, hotpot, or similar food preparation environment
- Familiarity with handling meats and preparation processes in high-volume kitchens
Additional Information
- This role is physically active and requires standing for extended periods
- Candidate must be willing to work evening and weekend shifts
- On-the-job training will be provided for specific preparation processes
