Full job description
Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges? You’ve come to the right place.
YOUR IMPACT
You will work on real-world, high-impact projects across a variety of industries, leveraging your strong passion for Tech & AI work.
In a team of typically ~3-5 consultants, you will shape and drive end-to-end digital transformations across business, technology, process and people, creating value by reinventing the core of our client's businesses. This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You’ll also present results to client management and implement recommendations in collaboration with client team members.
You’ll also gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on your team.
Your responsibilities will include partnering with our clients, from data owners and users to C-level executives, to understand their needs and build impactful analytics solutions. You will travel to our clients’ offices to deliver presentations, gather information, or share knowledge. You will contribute to cross-functional problem-solving sessions with your team and deliver presentations to colleagues and clients. Additionally, you will translate business problems into analytical problems, develop models aimed at solving our clients’ and users’ problems, and ensure they are evaluated with the relevant metrics.
You will be based in the Singapore office, working with Tech & AI at McKinsey, which brings together the best of McKinsey’s digital capabilities to help our clients use digital technology to transform their businesses. As part of this group, you’ll join a global team working on everything from AI-led transformation, strategy to agile, cloud, cybersecurity, digital transformation and IT modernization.
You will also collaborate with clients across a diverse range of sectors and industries, working on projects that span various functions. As part of our global team, you'll partner with colleagues from across McKinsey & Company to help clients deliver breakthrough products, experiences, and businesses, covering both technology and non-technology topics like operations, strategy, corporate finance, marketing, and sales etc.
Our office culture encourages creativity and trying out new ideas, with a focus on continuous learning and growth. There is also a strong emphasis on supporting and mentoring each other, helping everyone on the team develop and succeed.
YOUR GROWTH
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues—at all levels—will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you'll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won’t find anywhere else.
When you join us, you will have:
- Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. The real magic happens when you take the input from others to heart and embrace the fast-paced learning experience, owning your journey.
- A voice that matters: From day one, we value your ideas and contributions. You’ll make a tangible impact by offering innovative ideas and practical solutions. We not only encourage diverse perspectives, but they are critical in driving us toward the best possible outcomes.
- Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm’s diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions for our clients. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- World-class benefits: On top of a competitive salary (based on your location, experience, and skills), we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, mental health, and vision coverage for you, your spouse/partner, and children.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Bachelor's degree, ideally either in Business (Economics, Finance, Management) or technical field (Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science)
Minimum 3-4 years of full-time work experience preferred, with a focus on leveraging analytics and AI tools to drive product growth and management, or in technical roles (Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Software Engineers)
Outstanding record of academic achievement, with functional knowledge or passion in Digital, Technology and IT, as well as business and strategy
Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization
Willingness to travel
Fluent language level skills in English, both written and oral, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
