Full job description

Ever wondered how companies figure out "what could go wrong" before it actually goes wrong? That's basically what a Risk Business Analyst does. You'll be the person connecting the dots between data, business decisions, and "hey, maybe we shouldn't do that" moments — but backed by numbers, not just gut feeling.

If you're a curious problem-solver who likes spreadsheets a little too much, enjoys asking "why" five times in a row, and wants a front-row seat to how real business decisions get made — this one's for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • Digging into data to spot risks before they become problems (financial, operational, you name it).
  • Helping build and maintain risk models, dashboards, and reports that actual humans can understand (no jargon soup).
  • Working closely with different teams — finance, ops, compliance — to understand how the business runs.
  • Documenting processes and flagging where things could break down.
  • Supporting audits and compliance checks (less scary than it sounds, promise).
  • Turning messy data into clear insights and recommendations for decision-makers.
  • Keeping an eye on industry trends and regulations that might affect the business

What we’re looking for

  • Diploma and Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or something similar — but we care more about how you think than your GP.
  • Bonus points if you've dabbled in Excel wizardry, SQL, or tools like Power BI/Tableau.
  • Certifications like FRM, PRM, or even progress toward a CFA are a plus — but definitely not required if you're just starting out.
  • Someone naturally curious — you like understanding why things work the way they do.
  • Comfortable with numbers, but not necessarily a math genius (we'll teach you the technical stuff).
  • Good communicator — you can explain a risk in plain English, not just analyst-speak.
  • Detail-oriented but not a perfectionist who never ships anything.
  • Eager to learn — this role grows fast if you're hungry for it.
  • Team player who's not afraid to ask questions (seriously, ask away).
  • Fresh out of Uni, Entry Level, Mid-career switch? Totally fine. We're not expecting 10 years of experience (Please, no unicorn hunting here).

Pay: $2,700.00 - $4,500.00 per month

Benefits:

  • Cell phone reimbursement
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Professional development

Education:

  • Local Polytechnic Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Business Development: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
