Job Description:

IMH is looking for interns with background in operations research and data analytics who are keen to explore and contribute in the area of healthcare.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with an existing team of data analysts and biostatisticians and operations staff to advance the quality of insights derived from existing clinical databases. This will include the harnessing of structured datasets. They will also collaborate with clinicians and management to develop operational models of various hospital processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of operational and simulation models of the hospital’s outpatient and inpatient services.
  • Support relevant data collection/ exploitation required to develop operational models.
  • Support the development of ML models required by the operational models.

Requirements:

  • Academic background in Operations Research/ Statistics/Data science.
  • Familiarity with Markov models, Discrete event simulation and Agent-based modeling necessary.
  • Experience in Anylogic and Python preferred
