Title: Assistant Sales Manager - Middle East, Indian Subcontinent & Singapore
Reports To: Director, TCS Middle East, Indian Subcontinent & Singapore
Location: Singapore

What You’ll Do:
This role supports the regional team in driving container sales and trading activities across assigned customers in the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Singapore. They will be a member of a global team of container sales experts on a combined mission to maximize net sale values, while building sales volumes to match Triton International’s projected volumes into sale. As a member of a regional team, they will be responsible for best-in-class management of Triton International’s revenue generation and cost management across the defined geographical area.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Manage assigned customer relationships through frequent, proactive communication, positioning TCS as the preferred supplier with “last look” on container purchasing needs.
- Work closely with the TCS team to develop and execute coordinated customer plans that grow market share, support cross-territory accounts, and align with price/volume objectives.
- Provide coverage and support for the regional team as needed.
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities across assigned and new geographical markets, including all TCS products such as specials, chassis, and reefers.
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting and negotiation through sale order, credit approval, payment, and compliance with approved credit terms.
- Build strong internal relationships with customer service, technical, product, logistics and regional teams to support smooth order fulfilment, inventory positioning, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to improve net sales values through gate sale, consignment sale, and sale depot agreements.
- Develop strong product, service, pricing, and depot operations knowledge to better match customer requirements.
- Collect and share market intelligence, including competitor activity, inventory availability, and supply/demand trends in the assigned territory.
- Support TCS digital marketing campaigns, CRM lead follow-up, and customer database maintenance.
- Travel within the assigned region as required.
- Support other responsibilities and projects as they arise.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related discipline.
- 0-5 years of experience in customer service or sales-related roles.
- Knowledge of the container shipping industry is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products required with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be willing to travel within the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent & Singapore as required.
- High energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent decision making and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work well with diverse cultures and ability to liaise with colleagues globally.
- Ability to build strong customer and vendor relations.
- Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Singapore office.
- Must be able to work on-site four days per week (Monday - Thursday) in accordance with Triton's hybrid work model to support effective collaboration and business operations.
