We’re Hiring: Executive, IT

Ready to keep our systems running as smoothly as our strokes in the pool? As the IT Executive, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day IT operations of the Club. Your technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and service-oriented mindset will be essential as you provide onsite and remote user support, maintain systems and infrastructure, perform routine security checks, and support the rollout of IT solutions and operational platforms, including Northstar and POS systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely onsite and remote IT support to end users across the Club.
  • Support the setup, maintenance, inventorying and monitoring of the Club’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and servers.
  • Maintain and support IT equipment such as routers, switches, UPS, IPT, wireless access points, PCs, multi-function printers, audiovisual equipment, LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi.
  • Perform daily IT and network security / firewall checks, with periodic reviews on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Assist in the deployment and rollout of on-premises / cloud systems and solutions in coordination with the IT team.
  • Support and maintain servers, storage, virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V and VMware), and backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Administer Active Directory, Azure, SharePoint, including user account creation and removal, access rights, permissions, VPN access, and organisational unit management.
  • Maintain email accounts and distribution lists within the Microsoft 365 Exchange environment.
  • Support automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate and scripting tools such as PowerShell, batch, to streamline IT operations, reduce manual effort, and improve service delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues, including installations, patches, and upgrades.
  • Create, update, and maintain POS menus, terminals and related system configurations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for IT activities where required.
  • Support other operational duties as assigned by the HOD or Management.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Computing or a related field is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in IT infrastructure with a strong focus on systems and network management.
  • Prior experience in the Hospitality industry will be a plus.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of system and network administration.
  • Leadership management experience is not required.
