Are you passionate about bringing people together through engaging programmes, impactful communications, and memorable experiences?
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager, Learning & Development (Community Engagement) to lead strategic communications, marketing initiatives, and visitor engagement efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape public awareness of learning programmes, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and create enriching experiences for visitors and community partners.

What You'll Be Responsible For
Learning Communications & Marketing
- Develop and execute integrated communications and marketing strategies to enhance awareness and participation in learning programmes.
- Drive digital, social media, print, and outreach initiatives to engage diverse audiences and strengthen community connections.
- Lead promotional campaigns for training programmes, events, and key initiatives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop targeted communication plans and impactful content.
- Manage communications calendars, campaign performance, and marketing budgets.
Corporate Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead media relations and publicity efforts for key programmes, projects, and events.
- Develop communication materials including media releases, presentations, publicity kits, and promotional collateral.
- Coordinate organisation-wide communications initiatives to ensure timely and effective outreach.
- Support stakeholder visits, guided tours, and engagement activities that showcase organisational impact and achievements.
Community & Visitor Experience
- Oversee outreach, publicity, and visitor engagement strategies for a community-focused gallery and learning space.
- Provide leadership and guidance to Visitor Experience personnel to ensure a positive visitor journey.
- Manage visitor bookings, group visits, logistics coordination, and operational planning.
- Coordinate volunteer and docent scheduling to support visitor engagement activities.
- Analyse visitor feedback, engagement metrics, and campaign outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Introduce innovative programmes and outreach initiatives that encourage greater community participation and visitor interest.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in communications, marketing, community engagement, public relations, learning and development, or related disciplines.
- Experience managing projects, campaigns, stakeholders, or teams.
- Strong understanding of digital communications, content strategy, and audience engagement.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused approach to work.
- Experience in gallery, museum, visitor experience, or public engagement environments will be an advantage.
